Maharashtra FDA Suspends Blinkit’s Malad Store Licence, Conducts Raids Across Mumbai

The Maharashtra Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has suspended the operating licence of Blinkit’s Malad outlet, effective immediately. The decision follows a series of inspections that raised concerns over compliance with food safety and licensing norms.

In addition to the licence suspension, the FDA conducted coordinated raids in Mumbai and several other locations across Maharashtra. The raids targeted Blinkit’s distribution centres and retail outlets to verify adherence to regulatory standards.

Blinkit, an online grocery and convenience store chain, has faced scrutiny over its rapid expansion and regulatory compliance. The company has not yet issued a statement regarding the FDA’s action.
