The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration seized adulterated food and banned products worth ₹1.90 crore, while suspending the licence of Parsi Dairy Farm.

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it had seized a batch of adulterated food items and banned products valued at ₹1.90 crore during a routine inspection.

The seized goods included packaged foods that were found to contain harmful additives and were not compliant with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations.

In a separate action, the FDA suspended the operating licence of Parsi Dairy Farm, citing repeated violations of food safety norms.

The agency said the measures aim to protect consumers from unsafe products and to enforce strict compliance across the food industry in the state.
