Maharashtra Approves EV Incentives

The Maharashtra government has given a significant boost to the adoption of electric vehicles in the state by approving incentives worth Rs 37.37 crore. The largest share of these incentives, amounting to Rs 14.88 crore, has been allocated to the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST). This move is part of the state's Electric Vehicle Policy, which aims to encourage the use of eco-friendly vehicles and reduce pollution. By providing financial incentives, the government hopes to make electric vehicles more attractive to consumers and promote their use across the state.
