The Government of Madhya Pradesh announced a month‑long Service Commitment Campaign to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Jan Seva initiative. The programme, running from 17 September to 17 October 2024, will be rolled out across the state.
Titled “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”, the drive seeks to mobilise volunteers, NGOs and government agencies for community projects such as sanitation clean‑ups, health camps and educational support in both rural and urban areas.
State officials said the campaign will be coordinated by the Chief Minister’s office in partnership with the Prime Minister’s Jan Seva team, with a flagship launch ceremony slated for Bhopal and a series of events planned in major districts.
Organisers anticipate participation from thousands of citizens and intend to document outcomes as part of the broader Jan Seva legacy, underscoring a continued focus on grassroots development.
