The state’s meteorological department reports that 25 districts received full rainfall this month and releases the October rain forecast.
Madhya Pradesh’s weather department announced that twenty‑five districts across the state recorded full rainfall during the current month, marking a widespread wet spell. The data, compiled from ground stations and satellite observations, confirms that the precipitation met or exceeded the normal thresholds for the period.
In its October bulletin, the department projected continued rain activity, with moderate to heavy showers expected in most parts of the state. The forecast highlights districts such as Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior as likely to experience the heaviest precipitation, while some northern and western areas may see lighter showers.
Authorities have urged farmers to take advantage of the moisture for sowing and to monitor water levels in reservoirs. Residents are advised to stay alert for localized flooding and to follow any advisories issued by local bodies. The outlook will be updated weekly based on evolving weather patterns.
