The state government of Madhya Pradesh has attracted investments worth ₹9,625 crore across sectors such as data centres, semiconductor fabs and lithium‑ion battery production.
Madhya Pradesh announced that it has secured a total of ₹9,625 crore in technology‑related investments. The commitments span a range of projects, including large‑scale data centre parks, semiconductor fabrication units and facilities for manufacturing lithium‑ion cells.
Several national and multinational firms have pledged capital to set up these facilities, citing the state’s strategic location, robust infrastructure and policy incentives as key attractions. The data centre projects are expected to cater to growing digital demand, while the lithium‑cell plants aim to support India’s push for electric‑vehicle batteries.
State officials project that the influx of capital will generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs and position Madhya Pradesh as a emerging hub for high‑tech manufacturing. The government has also outlined fiscal benefits and streamlined clearances to accelerate project roll‑outs over the next few years.
