Fourteen IPS officers from Madhya Pradesh will attend the 28th Mid‑Career Training Programme in Hyderabad, prompting temporary reassignment of seven district SPs and a DIG to maintain police operations.
Fourteen Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from Madhya Pradesh have been selected for the 28th Mid‑Career Training Programme, which will be conducted in Hyderabad. The training, aimed at enhancing leadership and operational skills, is scheduled to run for several weeks.
To ensure that police administration across the state remains uninterrupted, the Directorate of Police has reassigned duties of senior officials. A DIG and the superintendents of police (SPs) from seven districts will take on alternate responsibilities during the officers' absence.
Additional senior officers have been posted temporarily to fill the vacated posts, guaranteeing that law‑and‑order functions and ongoing investigations continue without delay. The reshuffle is part of the regular cadre development and rotation policy of the Madhya Pradesh Police.
The move underscores the state's commitment to professional development while maintaining uninterrupted public safety services.
