Police in Madhya Pradesh intervened to remove demonstrators from several trains heading to Delhi, citing safety and order concerns.
Madhya Pradesh police took action on Wednesday to clear protesters from multiple passenger trains bound for the national capital. The police said the removal was necessary to maintain public safety and ensure the smooth operation of the rail network.
According to officials, security teams boarded the trains at various stations across the state and asked the demonstrators to disembark. Those who complied were escorted to nearby police stations for questioning, while a few were detained for violating railway regulations.
The police did not disclose the exact number of passengers involved or the reasons behind the protest, but emphasized that the move was taken to prevent any disruption to the scheduled services to Delhi. Railway authorities confirmed that train timings remained largely unaffected.
Law enforcement agencies have warned that any future attempts to block or disrupt train services will be met with swift action. The incident follows a series of protests across the country that have occasionally targeted transportation corridors.
No injuries were reported, and the police are continuing to monitor the situation as the trains proceed toward Delhi.
