Madhya Pradesh is set to experience intensified monsoon activity, with the weather department issuing a red alert for very heavy rainfall in Balaghat and Dindori, and heavy rain warnings for five other districts.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a significant weather alert for Madhya Pradesh, forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts. Specifically, Balaghat and Dindori have been placed under an alert for extremely heavy downpours.

Additionally, the IMD has warned of heavy rainfall in Dewas, Harda, Betul, Pandhurna, and Chhindwara districts. This heightened activity indicates a robust phase of the monsoon season gripping the state.

The monsoon's progress across Madhya Pradesh has accelerated, and it is anticipated to cover the entire state within the next two to four days. Residents in the affected areas are advised to remain vigilant.
