The Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department is preparing digital e‑content covering 23 subjects, using videos, text, charts and animations, to ease learning and offset textbook delays. An expert committee will review the material for accuracy and quality.
Bhopal – The Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department has announced a new digital initiative aimed at mitigating the impact of delayed textbook deliveries. Under the scheme, e‑content for 23 undergraduate and postgraduate subjects will be developed and made available to students across the state.
The digital packages will combine video lectures, textual explanations, illustrative charts and animated sequences, providing a multimodal learning experience that can be accessed online or offline. By leveraging technology, the department hopes to ensure that students can continue their studies without interruption.
To maintain academic standards, a panel of subject‑matter experts has been constituted to scrutinise the content for factual correctness and pedagogical quality. The committee will conduct periodic reviews before the material is released to institutions.
The rollout is expected to begin in the upcoming academic session, with the department planning to expand the e‑content library based on feedback from colleges and universities.
