The Madhya Pradesh High Court ruled that the deity Lord Ram is the legal owner of the Ramola Temple and its approximately ₹100 crore assets, appointing the Ujjain collector as manager and confirming priest Ratandas' appointment.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court delivered its verdict on a 72-year-old dispute concerning the Ramola Temple in Khacharod, declaring that the deity Lord Ram is the rightful owner of the temple and its associated properties, which are valued at roughly ₹100 crore.
The judgment also named the Ujjain district collector as the temple's manager, thereby placing administrative control under the state’s senior official. In addition, the court upheld the appointment of priest Ratandas, confirming his role as legitimate.
