The Madhya Pradesh government has reshuffled its police leadership, moving five IPS officers and eight other officials, and assigning Manish Bhardwaj as Additional Superintendent of Police in Jabalpur.
The state government of Madhya Pradesh announced a significant reshuffle of its police cadre, transferring five Indian Police Service (IPS) officers along with eight other senior officials to new postings. The move, disclosed through an official press release, is part of a broader effort to strengthen law‑enforcement coordination across the state.
Among the changes, senior officer Manish Bhardwaj has been appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) for the Jabalpur range. Bhardwaj, who previously held a senior position in the state police hierarchy, will now oversee crime prevention, traffic management and community policing initiatives in the Jabalpur district.
