The Madhya Pradesh administration has moved 137 police personnel, including ten IPS officers, with Alok Verma named as the new CSP for Rewa and 127 DSP‑rank officers reassigned.

In addition to the IPS cadre, 127 officers holding the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) have been reassigned to different districts and units across the state. The Home Department described the transfers as routine and aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
