Madhya Pradesh faces 4-day dry spell, sunny weather in Bhopal, Indore as monsoon retreats

The monsoon is set to retreat in Madhya Pradesh, with forecasts indicating weak rainfall and clear skies over Bhopal, Indore and other areas for the next four days. Ujjain and Gwalior divisions may experience the first return of showers.
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a short‑term outlook for Madhya Pradesh indicating that the monsoon trough will weaken, leading to a four‑day period of minimal precipitation across most of the state.
Meteorologists expect clear to partly cloudy conditions with strong sunshine in the capital Bhopal and the commercial hub Indore, as well as in several other districts. Temperatures are likely to rise modestly during this dry spell.
However, the Ujjain and Gwalior divisions are flagged as the first zones where the monsoon could re‑establish, with isolated showers possible towards the end of the forecast period.
Residents are advised to stay updated with local weather bulletins and to take precautions against heat exposure while the monsoon withdrawal continues.
