The Madhya Pradesh government has announced that Class-IV employees will be exempted from the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) when promoted to Assistant Grade-III. The relaxation applies particularly to employees aged 45 years and above.

The state government has decided to waive the CPCT requirement for Class-IV staff seeking promotion to the Assistant Grade-III post. This decision removes a mandatory test that was previously required for such career advancement.

Employees who are 45 years of age or older will specifically benefit from this exemption, as the age criterion was highlighted in the announcement. The move aims to address long-standing demands from this segment of the workforce.

Officials say the relaxation is expected to boost morale and encourage longer-serving employees to pursue higher grades without the barrier of the CPCT exam.
