Madhya Pradesh Congress to Launch 'Ghar Wapsi' After Receiving 600 Applications

The Indian National Congress in Madhya Pradesh has said it will organise a "Ghar Wapsi" programme, a term commonly used for reconversion, after receiving roughly 600 applications from people who want to return to the party. The applications were submitted to the state party office, prompting the leadership to schedule a formal event for the prospective members. No specific date or venue for the ceremony has been disclosed yet, and officials said they will communicate further details in due course. The move reflects the party's effort to consolidate its base ahead of upcoming electoral contests in the state.
