On 14 and 15 September, Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal will host the ‘Indian Mother Tongue Ritual’, celebrating Indian languages, culture and values, with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav opening the event.
Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – The state’s cultural hub, Bharat Bhavan, will stage a two‑day celebration of Indian mother tongues on 14‑15 September. The event, titled ‘Indian Mother Tongue Ritual’, aims to highlight the diversity of languages, cultural heritage and shared values across the country.
Organisers have planned a series of cultural performances, literary readings and interactive workshops that will showcase regional dialects and folk traditions. The program is designed to encourage participation from students, artists and community groups.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will formally inaugurate the festival, underscoring the government’s commitment to preserving linguistic heritage. He is expected to deliver a brief address and participate in the opening ceremony.
