Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh met Union Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Saturday, focusing on the state's development projects, welfare schemes and cooperative sector progress.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav travelled to New Delhi on Saturday where he was received by Union Home and Co-operative Minister Amit Shah. The two senior leaders held a closed‑door meeting at the minister's office to exchange views on Madhya Pradesh's ongoing development agenda.
During the discussion, Yadav outlined key infrastructure projects, including road upgrades and water supply schemes, and sought the centre's support for accelerating their implementation. Shah highlighted central welfare initiatives and explored ways to align them with the state's priorities.
Both officials also examined the growth of the cooperative sector, agreeing to strengthen coordination between state and central agencies to boost credit flow and capacity building for cooperatives. The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to maintain regular dialogue and monitor progress on the agreed actions.
