Ludhiana: Army Officer's Home Raided, 20 Tolas Gold and 30 Tolas Silver Stolen

Police in Ludhiana have confirmed that 20 tolas of gold and 30 tolas of silver were stolen from the residence of an army officer.
The police received a report at 10:30 a.m. on Monday that 20 tolas of gold and 30 tolas of silver had been stolen from the residence of an army officer in Ludhiana.
Investigators from the Ludhiana Police Crime Branch secured the premises and are tracing the missing jewellery. CCTV footage from nearby shops is being reviewed.
The officer, whose identity is being kept confidential, is said to have been a senior member of the Indian Army. The loss is estimated at over ₹10 crore.
No arrests have been made yet. The police have urged anyone with information to come forward and have set up a dedicated helpline.
