The government has announced that the deadline for completing the LPG eKYC process is August 16. The eKYC allows consumers to verify their gas cylinder details without visiting a distribution point.
To finish the KYC from home, users must log into the official LPG portal or download the mobile app, enter their registered mobile number, and follow the on‑screen prompts. The system will send an OTP for verification, after which the user can confirm the cylinder details.
Once the KYC is successfully submitted, the gas cylinder will be linked to the consumer’s account, enabling uninterrupted supply and eligibility for subsidies. Consumers who miss the deadline may face temporary disconnection of their LPG supply.
