Lottery Decides Reservation for 457 Pradhan Posts, 50% Reserved for Women

A lottery held today allocated reservation for 457 Pradhan positions, assigning 93 seats to ST, 79 to SC and 56 to OBC categories. Half of the posts are reserved for women as per the decision.
The reservation lottery was conducted today to determine the allocation of Pradhan seats among various social categories. According to the outcome, 93 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes, 79 for Scheduled Castes and 56 for Other Backward Classes.
In addition to the category-based reservation, the decision also earmarked 50 percent of the total Pradhan posts for women. This means that out of the 457 positions, half will be filled by female candidates.
Officials said the lottery method was adopted to ensure transparency and fairness in the reservation process. The allocated seats will be filled according to the prevailing rules for Pradhan selections.
