Lone Intruder Kills 60-Year-Old Woman in Patan Kote, Steals Jewelry

At about 8 pm on Monday, a 60‑year‑old woman was found dead in her home in the Ghattholi neighbourhood of Patan Kote. Police say the victim was shot with a sharp weapon by a lone intruder who had entered the house while the woman was alone. The intruder also stole jewellery from the victim before fleeing the scene. Authorities have launched an investigation and are calling for any witnesses to come forward.
