A Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta team raided the home of a senior police guard in Indore and 14 related sites, finding luxury assets valued at more than ₹12 crore, far exceeding his declared income.
Lokayukta officials in Madhya Pradesh carried out a coordinated raid on the residence of a senior police personnel, identified as the principal guard, in Indore. The operation also extended to fourteen additional locations linked to the officer.
Investigators uncovered a range of high‑value assets, including several bungalows, extensive land parcels and luxury automobiles. The combined worth of these holdings was assessed at over ₹12 crore, which is approximately 568% higher than the income the official had declared.
The stark disparity between the declared earnings and the discovered wealth has prompted a deeper anti‑corruption probe. While no arrests have been announced, the Lokayukta team said the investigation will continue to determine the source of the assets.
