Earlier this week, authorities discovered a live mortar bomb in a field near the CRPF training campus in Jaipur’s Amer area, roughly 1.5 km from the base. Police and Civil Defence teams cordoned off the area, ensuring the safety of nearby residents. Specialized bomb disposal units moved the device to a secure location away from population centers and detonated it safely, preventing any potential casualties. The incident was handled without injury, and CRPF officials urged residents to remain vigilant.
