Lal Chowk Post Office Extends Hours to 9 PM Amid Rising Demand

The post office located at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk will now remain open until 9 PM, a change announced by the local postal authorities. The decision follows a noticeable rise in the volume of letters and parcels processed at the hub, prompting officials to extend operating hours. Postal staff will continue to provide standard services, including mail collection, post office savings, and money transfer, until the new closing time. The extension is expected to reduce queues and improve convenience for residents and businesses in the area.
