The initiative is intended to boost tourism in the Malnad area, known for its lush forests and waterfalls, as well as the coastal belt, famed for its beaches and seafood, by providing reliable public transport.
KSRTC officials said the buses will feature comfortable seating and will run on a fixed timetable, with tickets available both online and at depot counters.
The move is expected to attract more domestic travelers and support local economies in both regions.
