The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced a new parcel logistics courier service for the general public across the state. The initiative uses the corporation's existing bus network to facilitate goods transport.
The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) announced the launch of a parcel logistics courier service aimed at serving the public throughout Kerala. The service was unveiled as part of the corporation's efforts to diversify its operations beyond passenger transport.
Under the new arrangement, parcels can be booked at designated KSRTC counters and transported using the corporation's existing bus fleet and routes. This allows customers to send goods to various destinations within the state using the same network that plies passengers.
KSRTC said the initiative is intended to make better use of its transport network and offer a new option for sending goods within the state.
The corporation added that it will assess demand and may adjust the service accordingly, keeping it open to all members of the public.
