Kochi Mini Cooper crash suspect Suhail draws attention in custody over hairstyle

A Mini Cooper collided with a vehicle in Kochi earlier this week, prompting a police investigation that identified a man named Suhail as the primary suspect. Authorities detained Suhail shortly after the incident and began standard interrogation procedures.
During his time in custody, Suhail's unusual hairstyle became a focal point for onlookers and media personnel. Photographs of the suspect with his distinctive hair cut circulated on social platforms, leading to a wave of comments and memes that shifted public attention from the crash itself to his appearance.
Police officials have reiterated that the investigation remains ongoing and that the suspect's grooming choices are unrelated to the legal proceedings. They have asked the public to refrain from sensationalising personal attributes and to focus on the factual aspects of the case.
The incident underscores how seemingly minor details can capture public imagination, especially when amplified through digital media, even as law enforcement continues to gather evidence on the crash.
No further details about the crash or potential charges have been released at this stage.
