A new park near the sub‑division office in Kishanganj, built under the Chief Minister’s urban development scheme, is about 90% finished, with a budget of ₹1.72 crore.
Kishanganj’s residents will soon have a new public park near the sub‑division office, a project funded under the Chief Minister’s comprehensive urban development plan. The total outlay for the park is approximately ₹1.72 crore, and construction work has reached roughly 90 percent of its target.
The timing of the project is significant, as officials aim to open the green space before the upcoming Dussehra festivities, offering a fresh recreational venue for families and visitors during the holiday period.
With most civil works already in place, the remaining tasks involve landscaping, installation of benches, lighting and basic amenities. Completion is expected shortly, after which the park will provide Kishanganj’s citizens with a much‑needed open area for leisure, exercise and community gatherings.
