In Delhi’s Jahangirpuri, a man named Dharma Pal abducted an 11‑year‑old boy after his sister rejected a marriage proposal, threatening the mother, and the child was recovered four days later.
Delhi police reported that a resident of Jahangirpuri named Dharma Pal seized an 11‑year‑old boy on the day his elder sister declined a marriage arrangement. The kidnapping took place in the neighbourhood after the sister’s refusal angered the accused.
According to the investigation, Dharma Pal called the child’s mother and warned that if she did not send her daughter to him, he would kill the boy. The threat was conveyed over the phone, heightening the family’s distress.
Law enforcement agencies launched a search operation immediately. After four days of intensive tracking, the child was located and rescued unharmed, and the suspect was taken into custody.
