Authorities in Khandwa have launched a major anti-encroachment drive, clearing approximately 90 hectares of forest land following an attack on forest personnel.

In a significant move, the administration in Khandwa has initiated a large-scale operation to reclaim forest land. The action follows an earlier incident where forest department personnel were reportedly attacked.

The drive aims to free up approximately 90 hectares of forest area that was under encroachment. To facilitate the process, a substantial deployment of resources has been made, including 25 JCB machines.

Over 600 officials and employees are participating in the extensive bulldozer campaign, ensuring the swift removal of illegal occupations from the designated forest land.
