The Kerala State Lottery Department conducted the Karunya KR-775 draw on November 7, 2024. The official result, released by the financial portal Goodreturns, confirmed that a ticket holder secured the top prize of one crore rupees.
The draw, part of the Karunya series aimed at raising funds for charitable causes, follows a transparent, computer‑generated selection process overseen by lottery officials. Winners are notified through the department’s website and authorized agents.
Goodreturns provided live coverage of the announcement, listing the winning ticket number and the prize amount. The department has urged the public to verify the result through its official channels before claiming the prize.
The Rs 1 crore prize adds to the growing popularity of state lotteries in Kerala, which are marketed as a legal alternative to unregulated gambling. The proceeds from the Karunya series are earmarked for health and education initiatives across the state.
Lottery participants are reminded to retain their tickets and present valid identification when collecting winnings, as per the lottery regulations.
