Arvind Kejriwal has announced the formation of the Goa First alliance, stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Indian National Congress are potential partners, though a final partner has not yet been chosen.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, has announced the creation of a new political coalition in Goa, named the Goa First alliance. The announcement was made in a press conference held in Goa, where Kejriwal outlined the coalition’s objectives and its focus on local issues.

During the event, Kejriwal stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC) are both considered viable partners for the alliance. However, he clarified that a final decision on which party will join the coalition has not yet been reached.

The formation of the Goa First alliance comes ahead of the upcoming Goa Legislative Assembly elections. Kejriwal’s move is seen as an attempt to bring a new political force into the state’s electoral landscape, potentially altering traditional party dynamics.

Kejriwal indicated that the coalition will work towards addressing local concerns such as infrastructure development, tourism management, and environmental conservation. He also mentioned that the alliance will seek to collaborate with any party that aligns with these priorities once a partner is selected.
