The Karnataka government’s innovation platform Innoverse has announced the selection of seven deep‑technology startups to join its scale‑up programme, aimed at accelerating product development and market readiness.

Bengaluru-based Innoverse, the Karnataka government's dedicated innovation hub, disclosed that seven deep‑technology startups have been shortlisted for its new scale‑up programme. The initiative is designed to provide intensive support, including mentorship, access to state‑of‑the‑art labs, and seed funding, to help the firms move from prototype to commercial product.

The selected ventures span sectors such as artificial intelligence, advanced materials, robotics and quantum computing, reflecting the state's focus on high‑impact technologies. Innoverse officials said the startups were evaluated on the novelty of their technology, scalability potential and alignment with Karnataka’s broader industrial strategy.

The programme, slated to run for 12 months, will culminate in a demo day where the startups present their progress to investors and industry partners. The government hopes the effort will boost the deep‑tech ecosystem, create skilled jobs and position Karnataka as a leading hub for cutting‑edge innovation in India.
