The Karnataka government introduced eight bills covering areas such as property registration, parking regulations and other civic matters, aiming to streamline processes for citizens.

The state cabinet approved eight legislative proposals that target a range of everyday issues, from simplifying land‑record formalities to tightening rules for vehicle parking in urban zones.

The property‑registration bill seeks to digitise title searches and reduce paperwork, promising faster clearance for buyers and sellers.

A separate parking bill introduces tiered fines and designated zones to curb illegal parking in congested city streets, particularly in Bengaluru.

Other measures address municipal service fees, consumer protection in real‑estate transactions and the creation of a grievance redressal portal for residents.

Officials said the reforms will be implemented in phases, with the government monitoring impact before any further amendments.
