The Karnataka government has announced plans to fast‑track the building of a new High Court campus on the Race Course premises in Bengaluru.
The Karnataka government announced on Tuesday that it will accelerate the construction of a new High Court campus on the Race Course premises in Bengaluru. The decision aims to provide a modern facility for the state's judiciary and address space constraints at the existing court complex.
The selected site, located in the historic Race Course area of the city, will be developed under an expedited schedule. Officials said the fast‑track approach will shorten the usual timeline for such infrastructure projects.
While detailed plans and timelines have not been disclosed, the move reflects the state’s priority to strengthen judicial infrastructure. The project is expected to proceed alongside other ongoing development initiatives in the capital.
