Karnataka Marks 71st Kannada Rajyotsava with State‑Wide Celebrations

On 1st November, Karnataka celebrated its 71st Kannada Rajyotsava, the day that commemorates the formation of the state and the promotion of the Kannada language. State‑wide events were organized in major cities, districts and villages, featuring folk music, dance, and literary readings. The Governor of Karnataka presided over the main ceremony at the state capital, where the flag of Karnataka was hoisted and a wreath was laid at the memorial of the late Chief Minister. The celebrations highlighted the cultural heritage of Karnataka and the contributions of its people to the state’s development.
