The Food and Drug Administration in Karnataka has taken strict action against several pharmaceutical entities by cancelling and suspending multiple licences.

In a significant regulatory move, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Karnataka has targeted multiple drug establishments for non-compliance. The authority has officially cancelled the licences of 16 drug-related entities across the state.

In addition to the cancellations, the FDA has also suspended the licences of eight other establishments. This action underscores the regulator's commitment to maintaining strict standards within the pharmaceutical sector.

The crackdown is part of the state's ongoing efforts to ensure that drug distribution and manufacturing adhere to the prescribed legal and safety guidelines.
