The Kannada movie Premada Oorali saw a notable jump in its earnings on the 16th day, driven by a strong Saturday performance, according to NDTV Profit.
Premada Oorali, a recent Kannada-language release, continued its theatrical run into the third week and posted a pronounced increase in collections on its 16th day. The surge was recorded on a Saturday, a day traditionally associated with higher footfall in Indian cinemas, and it lifted the film's overall earnings considerably.
Industry observers attribute the jump to positive word‑of‑mouth and sustained audience interest, especially in Karnataka's urban centres. The film's performance contrasts with the typical decline most movies face after the opening weekend, indicating a growing momentum.
The box‑office uplift underscores the film's appeal among regional audiences and adds to the broader trend of strong domestic content driving box‑office revenues in the South Indian market.
