Kanak News Odisha launches 12NOON Headlines broadcast on 12 Oct 2026

Kanak News Odisha introduced its 12NOON Headlines segment on 12 October 2026, positioning it as a mid‑day roundup of breaking news across Odisha. The programme, aired in both Odia and English, aimed to deliver timely updates on politics, weather, and local events to viewers during the lunch hour.

The launch was marked by a brief studio introduction highlighting the channel's commitment to regional coverage and digital integration. Reporters from the network emphasized that the new slot would feature live reports, expert analysis, and quick summaries of the day's most important stories.

Industry observers note that the addition of a mid‑day bulletin reflects growing competition among state‑level broadcasters to capture audiences seeking concise news bites. Kanak News expects the 12NOON Headlines to strengthen its viewership base in urban and rural parts of Odisha.

The broadcast concluded with a preview of upcoming segments, including a special feature on local agriculture and a weather forecast for the coming week.
