Kanak News Odisha launches 11 PM headline broadcast on Oct 21, 2026

Kanak News Odisha rolled out its 11 PM headline segment on 21 October 2026, marking a fresh addition to the channel's prime‑time schedule. The half‑hour bulletin, presented in Odia, featured a roundup of the day's most urgent stories, ranging from local developments to national updates. Viewers across Odisha tuned in to receive concise, breaking news as the channel seeks to strengthen its evening news presence.

The launch aligns with the broadcaster's strategy to expand its prime‑time coverage and cater to audiences looking for quick, reliable updates before the night ends. Station officials highlighted the program's focus on clarity and speed, aiming to become the go‑to source for late‑night news in the region.

Industry analysts note that adding a dedicated 11 PM slot reflects growing competition among regional news channels to capture viewership during the later hours. Kanak News Odisha hopes the new bulletin will boost its ratings and reinforce its position in the Odia media market.
