Kadapa MP Urges Amrit Bharat Upgrade for Yerraguntla Railway Station

The Amrit Bharat station upgrade programme aims to modernise and beautify key railway hubs across India. Yerraguntla, a town in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, has long awaited such improvements. In a recent meeting with railway officials, Kadapa MP R. Venkateswara Rao highlighted the station’s strategic importance and urged the ministry to fast‑track its inclusion in the scheme. If approved, the upgrade would bring better amenities, improved safety features and aesthetic enhancements to the local community.
