Jammu & Kashmir police confiscated more than 600 grams of heroin in the Samba district and detained a suspect in the operation.
Police in Jammu & Kashmir conducted a drug‑seizure operation in the Samba district on Tuesday, recovering more than 600 grams of heroin from a suspect’s premises. The seized drug was stored in a sealed container and was immediately handed over to the narcotics control department for analysis.
The operation was carried out after intelligence reports indicated the presence of a drug trafficking network operating in the area. The arrested individual is believed to be involved in the procurement and distribution of the narcotic.
