Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called for locally viable biomass solutions to reduce the state’s carbon emissions and boost rural economies.
Prime Minister Omar Abdullah addressed the assembly on Tuesday, urging the state to adopt locally viable biomass solutions as a key strategy to reduce carbon emissions.
He highlighted the abundant agricultural waste in the region that can be converted into bioenergy, thereby creating jobs and cutting reliance on fossil fuels.
