The Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir announced on Friday that special voter enrolment drives will be held every Saturday and Sunday across the union territory. The drives aim to reach citizens who have missed regular registration opportunities.
Named ‘No Voter To Be Left Behind’, the initiative is part of the Election Commission’s effort to improve electoral roll accuracy ahead of upcoming polls. Officials said the weekend schedule is designed to accommodate working individuals and students.
