The Jammu & Kashmir Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a chargesheet against ten persons for illegal construction in the Batamaloo locality of Jammu.
The charges allege that the accused erected a building without obtaining the required permits and in violation of municipal building regulations.
Among the accused, seven are officers of the Jammu Municipal Corporation, while the remaining three are private individuals linked to the project.
The ACB has said it will pursue the case further and may seek additional penalties if the court finds the allegations true.
