Central minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, who fell critically ill on Sunday, is now stable as AIIMS prepares to move him out of intensive care, while a senior advisor has raised concerns about his treatment at Medanta.
Jitan Ram Manjhi, a central minister and patron of the Hindustani Awam Morcha, was rushed to the emergency department of AIIMS in New Delhi on Sunday after experiencing severe breathing difficulty and high fever.
He was admitted to the intensive care unit for close monitoring.
According to hospital officials, his condition has now stabilised and doctors are preparing to transfer him out of the ICU within the next 24 hours.
Separately, a senior advisor to the minister has publicly questioned the role of Medanta in his treatment, seeking clarification on the medical decisions made there.
