MP Gajendra Singh Patel has alleged that the Hemant Soren‑led Jharkhand government is facilitating infiltration, raising concerns over security in the state.

Gajendra Singh Patel, a Member of Parliament from Jharkhand, publicly accused the state government headed by Chief Minister Hemant Soren of encouraging infiltration across the region. In a statement released to the media, Patel claimed that policies and administrative actions of the Soren administration are creating an environment that aids illegal entry and settlement.
He warned that such a trend could destabilise the state's internal security and undermine law‑and‑order mechanisms. Patel called for an immediate review of the government's approach to border management and urged the authorities to take corrective steps.
As of now, the Hemant Soren government has not issued an official response to the allegation. Political analysts note that the accusation adds to existing tensions between opposition leaders and the ruling coalition in Jharkhand, but concrete details of any investigative action remain pending.
