The Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) has signed an agreement with consulting firm IPE Global to strengthen vocational skill programmes across the state.
Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) announced a partnership with IPE Global, a global consultancy specializing in education and skill development. The collaboration aims to design and implement new vocational training modules that address the state's demand for skilled manpower.
Under the agreement, IPE Global will provide technical expertise, curriculum design and capacity‑building support to JEPC's existing training centres. The focus will be on sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and renewable energy, which are identified as high‑growth areas in the region.
Both parties expect the initiative to increase employability for youth, especially in rural districts, and to align training outcomes with industry standards. The rollout is slated to begin in the coming months, with pilot programmes in selected districts before a statewide expansion.
The partnership reflects the state government's broader push to enhance skill development infrastructure and reduce unemployment through targeted vocational education.
