Patwari visited families of those affected by the poisonous liquor scandal in Sagar, accusing the state government of negligence and demanding the excise minister’s resignation, compensation and strict action against the culprits.
Patwari arrived at the Chaoka‑Hinauti area of Sagar to meet relatives of victims who suffered after consuming illicit, poisonous liquor. The visit was organised to hear the concerns of grieving families and to convey their demands to the authorities.
During the interaction, Patwari leveled serious accusations against the state government, alleging a failure to prevent the distribution of the toxic brew. He urged the immediate resignation of the excise minister, citing the minister’s responsibility for overseeing liquor regulation.
